Lane was born and raised in Fruitland, Idaho. He attended college at Treasure Valley Community College before transferring to Colorado Mesa University to play baseball and complete his mass communications degree. On his free time, Lane enjoys being outdoors and is very passionate about fly fishing, hunting, snowboarding and golfing.
