Summerfield Subdivision

A full roof replacement was recently completed in the Summerfield Subdivision of Meridian, ID, providing this home with improved protection and visual appeal. The existing roof was removed down to the decking, and a thorough inspection for damage was conducted before new materials were installed.

Owens Corning Oakridge architectural shingles in Driftwood were installed, along with matching ProEdge hip and ridge shingles to ensure a cohesive and durable finish. Critical areas, including eaves and valleys, were reinforced with Titanium PSU30 underlayment, and SA Cap DeckSeal was applied to low-slope sections for additional moisture resistance. W valley metal was placed in roof valleys for added durability.

Attic ventilation was enhanced through the installation of VentSure ridge vents, while all plastic vents were replaced with metal gooseneck flashings for greater longevity. Flashing was updated as needed, and exposed nails were sealed using Vulkem, with Karnak applied beneath shingles in the valleys. The existing satellite dish was removed and disposed of, and the project was completed with a detailed cleanup.

This roof is now protected under the Owens Corning Platinum Protection Warranty, with lifetime workmanship coverage provided for lasting peace of mind.
