Idaho Roofing Contractors recently completed a full roof replacement in the Silverpine neighborhood of Boise. This project involved removing the existing roofing down to the decking, ensuring a thorough inspection before installing new materials. Our team installed Owens Corning TruDef Duration architectural shingles, hip and ridge shingles, and VentSure ridge vents for optimal attic ventilation. To enhance durability, synthetic underlayment and an ice and water barrier were applied where necessary. The project also included new IPS metal pipe flashings, Famco step and endwall flashing, and kick-out flashings to improve water runoff. Additional sealing measures were taken with Karnak in the valleys and Vulkem on all exposed nails.
