North End

In Boise’s historic North End neighborhood, detailed repair work was carried out to address a variety of roof maintenance needs while preserving the look and feel of the existing structure. Shingles were removed around nine identified roof penetrations and their flashings, allowing for thorough deck inspection and the installation of new metal seals and Titanium PSU30 underlayment. Each section was tied back in using Pabco Premier shingles in antique black to blend with the original roof.

Additional repairs were performed at the eaves, where six courses of shingles were removed to install new 1” drip edge metal and ice & water barrier. Starter shingles and matching Pabco Premier shingles were installed to ensure a smooth transition. Damaged shingles under a back window and two pipe flashing areas were also replaced, with new flashing and shingles properly tied into the system.

Final touches included a full inspection for visible nail heads and sealing with polyurethane, ensuring durability and weather resistance. All work was completed according to manufacturer specifications and local codes to maintain long-term roof performance.
