Located in Hidden Springs, Boise, ID, this project involved a complete roof replacement to enhance durability and aesthetic appeal. The scope of work included tearing off the existing roofing down to the decking and inspecting for damage. All debris was removed, and a thorough cleanup was performed each night and upon project completion. New 1” extended “d” style black metal was installed at eaves and rakes, along with Famco step and endwall flashing, kick-out flashings, and IPS colored metal pipe flashings. Metal gooseneck flashings replaced all plastic vents for enhanced durability.
The new roof features Owens Corning TruDef Duration architectural shingles in Williamsburg Grey, with matching Decoridge high-profile hip and ridge shingles. Additional protective measures included roofing Karnak under shingles at valleys, Vulkem on all exposed nails, and a five-year workmanship warranty under the Owens Corning Standard Protection Warranty. This project ensures long-term protection while complementing the natural beauty of Hidden Springs.
