In the Copper River Basin neighborhood of Nampa, ID, a complete roof replacement was performed to upgrade the home’s durability and curb appeal. Existing roofing materials were removed down to the decking, which was carefully inspected for any damage prior to installation.
Owens Corning Oakridge shingles in Brownwood, along with matching ProEdge hip and ridge shingles, were installed to create a uniform and weather-resistant finish. The roof was enhanced with Rhino U20 synthetic underlayment, while Titanium PSU30 was placed in critical valley areas for added protection.
To improve attic ventilation, Ridgevent was used, and two J-vents were replaced with durable Famco metal vents. Color-matched brown metal flashings were installed at eaves, rakes, and around pipe penetrations. Exposed nails were sealed using Vulkem, and Karnak was applied under shingles at valley areas.
The existing satellite dish was retained, and a thorough cleanup was completed at the end of the project. The home is now protected under the Owens Corning Standard Protection Warranty, ensuring lasting performance and peace of mind.
